10. Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd off of the album The Wall. I love this song and the beat of it. Who hasn't at one point thought exactly what the song says. " We don't need no education."
9. Money by Pink Floyd off of the album Dark Side of the Moon. A must listen to song by this band and the best song off that album.
8. Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd off of the album Wish You Were Here. The best song that Pink Floyd ever wrote. It always evokes emotion out of me when I listen.
7. Ziggy Stardust by David bowie off the album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. This song barely beats out Suffragette City for me and I just love to listen to Bowie belt this one.
6. Hurricane by Bob Dylan off the album Desire. I loved the movie and I loved this song. I also like other Dylan songs,, but this one has always stood out to me and no one can beat Dylan in telling a story.
5. Baba O' Riley by The Who off the album Who's Next. Who doesn't like this song?
4. Sympathy For the Devil by The Rolling Stones off the the album Beggars Banquet. The instrumentals at the begin of this song and the guitar solo by Keith make this song an instant classic.
3. Gimmie Shelter by The Rolling Stones off the Album Let It Bleed. Oh my God, I love this song. I always do a little air guitar on this song.
2.Let It Bleed by the Rolling Stones off the Album Let It Bleed. " We all need someone to lean to on, and if you want it, you can lean on me." A great beat mixed with a bluesy feel make this an amazing song.
1A. While My Guitar Gently Weeps by George Harrison. This may have been written when he was with the Beetles, but this is a George Harrison Song. I particular love this song when it was done for the Concert For George when he died. George was always the most talented Beetle and he never gets credit for it. He wrote straight up just great songs that weren't too poppy( McCartney) or too overly political (Lennon).
1B. The Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin off the album Led Zeppelin III. The greatest intro to an album ever. If I could, I would put ever song off this album on the list.
1C. Spiders(KIdsmoke) by Wilco off the album A Ghost Is Born. The best song ever written my my favorite band. It is ridiculously simple too. It is the same beat through the whole song as it leads up to big breakdowns every three minutes. I saw them do this song live and it blew my mind. It only took them twenty minutes to perform.

A great list! I love it that you had to list 1A, 1B and 1C. Too much good stuff out there to limit yourself to 10 favs.
